<p>Reclosable cartons are provided from a single paperboard blank which includes a receptacle portion and a cover portion which telescopes over the upper edges of the receptacle portion. The cover portion includes a front cover panel and the front wall panel of the receptacle portion includes an integral bridging panel comprising at least one area of central sealing tab and flanking tab portions. The central portion of said bridging panel is adhered to the inner surface of the cover front panel and upon opening, the adhered central portion separates by peeling or splitting of the paperboard plies.</p> |
