Device for control of an XY table

The device comprises a punched tape reader, associating with each column (B1 to B8) of the tape a specific control function for the XY table. Each line of the tape corresponds to the execution of one program step. The device comprises five electronic memory elements, or buffer memories, allowing the tape to be advanced by one notch during execution of the preceding step. Thus an uninterrupted movement of the XY table is obtained between two datum positions. <IMAGE>
