PURPOSE:To shorten the transfer time of a picture signal and to improve the working efficiency of picture observation by storing a prescribed picture signal from a radiograph storage device with the picture signal inputted from a radiograph recorder based on the indication of a transfer instruction part. CONSTITUTION:The picture signal from the radiograph recorder 30 is stored in a DISK 22, and is read out immediately to a main memory 12, and ID information with respect to the kind of an object, etc., is read. After an image is specified by the reading of the ID information, the instruction which picture signal should be transferred out of a large number of picture signals stored in the radiograph storage device 40 is decided. Indication information to be transferred is stored at a prescribed position in the main memory 12 in a flange format. The picture signal transferred from the storage device 40 based on the instruction is stored in the DISK 22 similarly as the picture signal from the recorder 30. Therefore, when it is required to compare them, the picture signal is read out from a fast accessible DISK 22, and the image can be reproduced and displayed in a short time. |
