PURPOSE:To make it possible to use a less expensive differential relay by placing magnetic material between two iron cores, and making the residual voltage of the secondary winding large enough to operate the low-sensitive relay. CONSTITUTION:If the circuit F-F' of a primary winding is short-circuited, it causes a current to flow through the circuit, and magnetic flux is produced. The magnetic flux blankets another one which passes through an iron core 4 and simultaneously circulates in a secondary winding 3 wound on an iron core 4'. If magnetic materials 9 and 10 made by laminating materials for use in iron cores having small magnetic resistance are provided in connecting portions adjacent to iron cores 4 and 4' which are equivalent to circulating passages, the magnetic flux produced by a short-circuiting current passes through the iron core 4' of the secondary winding 3, and the induced voltage of the secondary winding 3 is sufficiently larger than what is obtained when the magnetic materials 9 and 10 are not inserted. Therefore, the residual voltage of the secondary winding is large enough to operate a less expensive differential relay without modification.
|
