<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the clarifying performance of clarification tank by forming a filter bed structure excellent in SS removing efficiency and also free of clogging, having a biological filter bed portion in which netting tray plates with alternate water-passing holes are arranged in multistage and in parallel and an aeration and water-pumping portion between which aerated waste water is circulated in a tray flow in parallel with trays. CONSTITUTION:A water flow is produced by the rise of bubbles of air supplied from the diffusing cylinder 1 provided at the aeration-pumping portion and the aerated waste water is supplied by the pumping action to the upper part of filter bed. When the meshes of the netting tray 4 are covered with slime of miroorganisms and foreign matters, the waste water flows in parallel with the water surface along the tray 4, passed through the notched portion 5, and flows along the lower tray 4 gradually, during which the waste water is biologically treated. When the SS filtering performance of the filter bed is reduced and sludge separated from the filter bed begins to come out after being used for a long time, air from the diffusing cylinder 7 for cleaning the filter bed is blown into the bed to clean the filter bed.</p> |
