The heating system comprises a conduit system, and pump for circulating a heat carrying fluid. Part of the conduit system is built-in in a covering to be heated or surrounding a space or object to be heated. The conduit system extends through the covering such that the fluid emits heat at progressively decreasing temps from the warmer side to the colder side of the covering. The system may alternative comprise a heat pump system. The fluid is compressed before entering the built-in part of the conduit system and expended after it has passed the part. Heat energy can be supplied to the system by a combustion unit and/or low temp heat energy accumulator(s) and/or a solar-heat collector.
