Installation junction box or switch socket - has radial protrusion for flush mounting in form of shaped disc associated with socket bottom

The junction box or socket is pot-shaped and is of plastics. It is intended for embedding into a wall or ceiling and after this flush mounting retains switches or plug points. For secure embedding the socket has radial protrusions which are formed by a shaped disc provided in the region of the socket bottom. The socket may be plate-shaped and its outer edge may have radial slits. The disc is made of flexible plastics by injection moulding during which several beads are left at the plate bottom protruding lengthwise. The beads can be pushed through bores in the socket bottom and riveted there. Alternately the disc can be glued to the socket bottom. It may be flattened over a specified section at least on one side.
