<p>The starting device uses a linearly movable starting rod (2) which has a toothed section (e) cooperating with a gear wheel (3) attached to the motor shaft (32) for rotating the latter. The starting rod (2) is pushed inwards against the force of a spring (18) and is returned to its initial position after its release by the spring bias, with the toothed section (e) rotating the gear wheel (3) during the travel of the starting rod (2) and released from the gear wheel (3) when the starting rod (2) reaches its final position. Pref. the movement of the starter rod (2) is also used to index a switch wheel (13) via a pivoted indexing lever (19) at the top of the starter rod (2) cooperating with spaced pins (15) projecting from the surface of the switch wheel (13). This switch wheel (13) can pref. also be indexed by a further rod (5) similarly depressed against the force of a return spring (28) and contacting the pins (15) of the switch wheel (13) at its top end.</p> |
