<p>There is a stem piece for insertion in a cutout, on the connecting profile unit for fixing light metal windows in concrete frame. It is also made of light metal. A light metal batten (5) is fitted on the stem piece (2), held at an interval parallel to it by non-metallic connecting cross arm stems (6). The stem piece, batten and cross arms combine to provide and enclosed hollow space (7). This may be filled with heat-insulating material (8). The batten may also serve as a stop (12) for wing frame (13).</p> |
