PURPOSE:To prevent the penetration of the foreign substances into the engaged surface between the inner race and the shaft by slidably contacting the outer peripheral surface of the sealing ring, which is fitted more tightly around the bearing inner race than the fitting tightness of the inner race, and the sealing body of the sealing mechanism on the outer end surface side of the outer race. CONSTITUTION:The bearing 2 of the bearing device at the neck part of the work roll bearing of the mill is formed by two inner races 21 which have the flanges with the multi rows of the outside rails, one outer race 22 with the multi rows of the inside rails without flanges, two outer races 23 with a single row of the inner rail without flanges, one inner race seat 24, and two outer race seats 25. The inner race 22 is loosely fitted around the neck part 11. The inner diameter d1 of the sealing ring 4 is designed to be slightly smaller than the inner diameter d2 of the inner race 21 so that the sealing ring 4, which slidably contacts the elastic sealing lip of the sealing body 32, of the sealing mechanism 3 on the end surface side of the single row outer race 23 is more tightly fitted around the neck part 11 than the fitting tightness of the inner race 21. |
