PURPOSE:To improve mixing performance and extruding capacity by making the cross-sectional forms of the cylinder and the screw of the mixing part of an extruding machine into polygonal forms and providing projecting parts on the cylinder, or further corresponding to them, projections or dams on the screw. CONSTITUTION:The cross-sectional forms of the cylinder 5 and the screw 6 of the mixing part of an extruding machine perpendicular to the axis are made into polygonal forms of polygon like forms. In the concave parts 7 of the cylinder, round or various form projections 8 are set in the longitudinal direction of the mixing part in an appropriate arrangement and at appropriate pitches. Or further, on each side of the screw 6 corresponding to the projections 8, projections 11 or dams 12 are provided. By so doing, part of resin in the central part of the screw sides in the concave parts of the cylinder which was rather hardly be mixed becomes mixed efficiently and uniform mixing and dispersion are obtained even when extruding quantities are increased. |
