PURPOSE:To make remote control of sound volume possible even in reception of a multiplex signal by providing a television receiver, which has an output signal for sound multiplex signals, with an output terminal for sound-volume-adjustment remote control signals. CONSTITUTION:Pulse-width modultaed signal VD or VU as a volume-adjustment remote control signal from decoder circuit 33 is led out to output terminal 35 through insulation transformer 36. In adaptor 2, signal VD or VU for volume adjustment from terminal 51 is supplied to transistors 52 and 53 and a regenerated signal is supplied to low-pass filter 54 and converted into a direct-current voltage, which is suppied to sound volume adjustment circuits 50A and 50B provided between both outputs of change-over circuit 43 and amplifiers 48A and 48B, so that the sound adjustment will be made. |
