PURPOSE:To improve the yield of glass filling up by arranging a specific metallic wire in parallel with a glass bar in the groove of a saucer, where the glass bar to be permeated as melting glass is stored, in the core gap forming part. CONSTITUTION:In the method where graphitic saucer 4 where glass bar 6 is put in groove 5 is placed under gap forming part 3 between ferrite cores 1 and 2 and the whole of it is heated to suck up the melting material of glass bar 6 to gap forming part 3 by capillary action and glass is filled up in part 3, heat-proof metallic wire having a wetting property to glass (for example, platinum wire) 7 is inserted into groove 5 in parallel with glass bar 6 to perform the glass filling up operation above. |
