Water storage basin for sewage plant - has round section with central cover support, conical sump and circulating sweeper

Excessive quantities of water are stored in basins for subsequent ducting into sewage treatment plant, the basins being provided with a top sealing cover. Each basin is circular in shape, with a central support (5) for the cover (2). In the vicinity of the support it has a conically converging sump (3), and below the bottom of the basin there is a circulating clearing device (8). This can be carried on a running disc (7) borne by the central support, and fitted with a sweeping arm (9) and counterweight arm (12).
