PURPOSE:To provide a convenient inspector by arranging a test cell and a reference cell in a dark box formed with an inspection aperture. CONSTITUTION:There are arranged in a dark box 16 having an inspection aperture 15 a test cell 4, which is filled with test water 5 and which is equipped with an enlarging lens 17, and a reference cell 18 which is filled with reference water 19 and which is equipped with the enlarging lens 17. A half mirror 11 and a total reflecting mirror 14 are interposed between the laser 1 and the two cells 4 and 18. Thus, the laser beam 2 emanating from a laser 1 is divided into first and second laser beams 12 and 13, one of which is guidded into the reference cell 18 whereas the other is guided into the test cell 4 so that it is scattered by the dust 20 in the water 10 and by the dust 6 in the water 5. The scattered beams 21 and 7 are enlarged by the lens 17 so that they can be observed through the aperture 15. As a result, in case the quantitative observation of the dusts is not necessary, the content of dusts can be visually compared with the use of a simple inspector. |
