<p>The mounting cowl for the additional dashboard instrument has a single moulded shape with one end shape to enclose the instrument. One side of the mould has a corrugated shape (3) for vibration damping, leading to a shaped mounting bracket (2). Thsingle construction provides a simple and economic design. The vibration absorption is trimmed by slots (12) cut through one side of the corrugation, so that different masses of instrument can be effectively supported.</p> |
