Suspension mechanism allowing an easy levelling of parked trailers without any lifting or wedging. This mechanism incorporated in the suspension of these vehicles makes it possible, on the one hand, to level these transversely by simultaneously raising one wheel (1) and lowering the other (2), thus making it possible to correct the attitude of the vehicle, and, on the other hand, to return the trailer to rolling conditions, the position of the suspension elements (8, 9; 23, 24; 42, 43) being ensured by locking mechanisms (31; 60, 61) working jointly with those necessary for the levelling. This mechanism can be used for most types of suspension in various forms - torsion-bar suspension (8, 9) - rubber-based suspension (23, 24) - spring suspension (42, 43). <IMAGE>
