PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of washing and decrease greatly water volume and time of washing by jetting intermittently washing water while pressure-feeding air to a strainer after removal of water within the strainer to which clad adheres. CONSTITUTION:When the blockade of a strainer 24 is detected, a condensate pump 23' is started, an inlet valve 26' and an outlet valve 27' are fully opened and condensate pumps 23 and 23' are operated in parallel to prevent the reduction in the circulating volume of condensate. Then the pump 23 is stopped, the inlet valve 26 and the outlet valve 27 are fully closed and the strainer is isolated from a condensate outlet system 22. Then a drain system 29 and an inlet valve 34 for compressed air supply are fully opened, conpressed air 30 is fed under pressure to the strainer 24, and condensate between the pump 23 and the inlet side of the strainer is discharged from a drain system 28. Under the condition under which the compressed air is fed under pressure to the strainer, washing water is intermittently supplied to a system 30 whereby clod which adheres to a filter 24a is removed, and the washing water and the compressed air are discharged from the system 28 to com plete the washing of the stainer 24. |
