An apparatus for filling single or multi-walled sacks, comprises a nozzle (1) which may be introduced into the sack, and an outer device (2) provided in order that the sack (21) be sealingly pressed against the nozzle, the nozzle having at least one fluid inlet (8) and at least one fluid outlet (9) for the feeding- in and discharge of fluid into and out of the sack, whereby the sack wall will be placed under tension so that material can fill the sack without the formation of folds therein. The nozzle and/or outer device 2 is/are vertically movable together to clamp the sack, and movable apart during filling to allow part of the sack to slide down from between the nozzle 1 and device 2. <IMAGE> |
