Supercharged internal combustion engine, comprising a valve whose stem slides in a guide and projects into a lubricated casing. An annular cavity (10) communicating with a return duct (15) is provided in the wall of the guide in the vicinity of the end of the guide which opens out into the port (11). The duct (12) for supplying fresh oil also opens out into the cavity (10). The ducts are such that the static pressure, in the cavity, of the oil which flows therein permanently is always less than the minimum pressure which prevails in the port. <IMAGE>
