PREPARATION OF UNSATURATED POLYESTER RESIN COMPOSITION HAVING IMPROVED SECONDARY ADHESIVITY

PURPOSE:To prepare a polyester resin having a remarkably improved adhesive strength when laminated to a cured polyester resin, by adding a copolymer of a (meth)acrylic acid ester and acrylonitrile to an unsaturated polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition composed of (A) 100 parts by weight of an unsaturated polyester resin comprising 50-80wt% of an unsaturated polyester having an acid value of <=100, pref. 5-70, and a molecular weight of 500-4000, and 50-20wt% of a vinyl monomer, and (B) 0.01-2 parts by weight of an acrylic acid ester and/or a methacrylic acid ester of formula (R1 is H or methyl; R2 is 2-4C alkyl).
