Central heating system with duct for preheated air - uses cooling circuit with underground coil connected to heat exchanger in duct

The air conditioning system with a duct (1) through which preheated air is forced by a fan (1a), has a heat exchanger installed in the duct in teh output path of the fan. This heat exchanger forms part of a cooling circuit (3) through which a liquid heat exchange medium flows. The cooling circuit includes pump (4) and a copper coil (7) which is buried underground. A by-pass line (3a) across the coil, and a control valve enable the cooling effect of the heat exchanger to be regulated. This circuit can be combined with a solar heating system, and in a complete alternative system, a heat exchanger is included in the upstream part of the duct, for air extracted from a number of rooms, and for cold air entering directly through the upstream part of the duct.
