摘要 <p>The fuel-injection engine is particularly a direct-injection diesel with combined pump and nozzle. The quantity injected is controlled by the crank angle proportional to a predetermined heat release, pressure rise being constant and external ignition taking place approx. at the start of injection and air movement taking place in a set direction. Ignition can be arranged to take place approx. 2 deg after the start of injection, and air movement can be controlled by a turbulence-inducing inlet port (5).</p>
