PURPOSE:To prevent soiling caused by the spray of toner by equipping the title device with a filter which restrains the toner from flowing out to an outer side through a path whereby a cartridge loading part is connected with the outer side and a valve which opens the path in response to increase in the internal pressure of the cartridge loading part. CONSTITUTION:When a toner cartridge is loaded in the cartridge loading part 53 by means of an opening part 52, the internal pressure of the cartridge loading part 53 increases. Then, a valve means 65 is opened and air inside the cartridge loading part 53 is released to the outer side S. Although the toner in the cartridge loading part 53 is also drawn toward the outer side S through the path 67 along with this flow of the air, it is checked by the filter 63. As the volume and the speed of the air flowing out of gap between the toner cartridge and the opening part 52 decrease, the toner spraying out of the gap is also reduced. The soiling by the spray of the toner inside the device can be thereby prevented. |
