<p>There is a crank shaft to activate a gear unit sited in a housing, in the mechanism for opening and closing a window. A stop (12) is non-rotatably mounted on the crank shaft (13), and a blocking element (7) is movably attached to the housing(16, 17). This element causes the operative gear (2, 11), or a component (4) activated by it, to be brought into engagement with the stop. The activated component may be a nut engaging the thread (3) of a gear shaft (1), led in a guideway along this shaft. This ensures that easily worn parts of the crank mechanism are automatically freed from loading when the end position is attained.</p> |
