<p>The section of a sliding roof is designed for easy transport onto site, after assembly at the point of production, and to permit use in hanger-type structures with trusses which are not straight; this applies to a system for moving a sliding roof span containing at least one sliding section as in 2642802. Here each sliding roof section (2, 3) is made up from two or more roof members (6, 7), which are connected to each other by hinge joints. These overlap in a scale pattern, and can be moved across arched trusses; and are easily transported on standard motor trucks.</p> |
