PURPOSE: To improve a working environment by arranging a rivet pulling means and a pneumatic air actuated piston.cylinder and arranging a damping valve for impact damping in stem cutting. CONSTITUTION: A piston.cylinder device 13 and a jaw mechanism 12 type pulling means are arranged to a pneumatic air actuated rivet installation tool. Further, a damping valve 27, which is arranged with a valve disk 32 consisting of plural air holes and an elastic body, is arranged to an end part of the cylinder device 13. Compressed air is introduced to a space 17 above a piston 15 by a trigger 16, the jaw mechanism 12 cuts a stem 23. In this case, when the piston 15 suddenly descends due to sudden change of pulling force of a piston rod 18, the air of a space 25 is passed to an air hole 26 of the valve 27 as well as deforms the disk 32 so as to damp/suppress air flow. By this method, noise and impact of a tool are suppressed or prevented, a working environment is improved. |
