A circuit arrangement for an anti-lock-controlled vehicle brake system serves for processing sensor signals obtained by means of wheel sensors (5) and for generating braking pressure control signals. The circuit arrangement contains two micro-controllers (1, 2) interconnected by data exchange lines (7). The wheel sensor signals are processed concurrently by the micro-controllers independently of one another and exchanged signals between micro-controllers are checked for consistency. A deviation of the exchanged signals due to malfunctions is signalled to a safety circuit (8) which, compares the signal with a time standard derived from dock generators (TG2, TG3). Any change in the signal, or a failure in the time standard, causes a cut-off of the power supplied to solenoid valves (L1...Ln) in the brake line. <IMAGE>
