PURPOSE:To protect an inner tank of a double-tank type cold tank by use of wire- like members which are extended through eyes of inner eye metals and outer eye metals and fixed at their opposite ends by suitable means. CONSTITUTION:Inner tank 1 is connected to outer tank 3 by means of inner eye metals 7 and outer eye metals 9, which are both formed with eyes through which wire rope 12 is extended. By employing such an arrangement, deflection of inner tank 1 toward inside can be prevented when gas for detecting leakage is fed to the back surface of inner tank 1, i.e., into the space formed between inner tank 1 and outer tank 3. When super-cold liquid is filled in inner tank 1, side wall of the inner tank 1 tends to distort downward due to contraction caused by cooling. Under such circumstances, however, inner tank 1 can be protected against such distortion of side wall since inner eye metals 7 and outer eye metals 9 are connected with each other by means of wire rope 12 but not fixed tightly, and therefore inner eye metals 7 are permitted to move freely within a limited range between adjacent two outer eye metals 9. |
