PURPOSE:To improve greatly switching characteristics of a transistor and also to simplify circuit constitution. CONSTITUTION:The collector of NPN transistor 1 is connected to one terminal of load circuit 2, whose other terminal is connected to a positive voltage application point. The emitter of transistor 1 is connected to an earth potential point and its base to one terminal of resistance 3. Therefore, a base input signal is considered to be supplied to the base of transistor 1 through resistance 3. Further, differentiating circuit 7 composed of series-connected capacitor 5 and resistance 6 is interposed between terminal 4 and the earth potential point. To the connection point of capacitor 5 and resistance 6 of circuit 7, the cathode of diode 8 is connected and also to the base of transistor 1. In this constitution, when a base input signal is inverted after transistor 1 is in an ON state, the diode is biased forward by the output of differentiating circuit 7 and carriers accumulated in the base of the transistor 1 are discharged, so that switching characteristics can be improved. |
