A rotary offset printing machine comprises a blanket cylinder 3, with a gear 13 fast on one end meshing with a gear fast on one end of a plate cylinder, incorporating means by which the register of the blanket and plate cylinders relative to an impression cylinder may be adjusted. A gear 11 is coaxial with the blanket cylinder 3, and is rotatable relative to it by displacement of an arm 17 about the axis of the blanket cylinder 3. The impression cylinder is driven by the gear 11, so displacement of the arm 17 results in a relative rotation of the blanket cylinder 3 and the impression cylinder. Adjustment may be carried out when the blanket cylinder 3, and the plate and impression cylinders with it, are being rotated by shaft 24. |
