Fermentation gas cylinder - with radial flexible paddles on revolving shaft for mixing and transporting

A plant for the prodn. of fermentation gas from the decomposition of organic substances of vegetable or animal origin includes a horizontal cylinder which is subdivided into a fermentation section and a collection section. A horizontal revolving shaft carries radial paddles, pref. offset angularly from each other, which can deflect backward when a set torque is exceeded. Heating elements maintain the ripening temp. This combines a good mixing efficiency with a transportation of both the floats and the sinks towards the discharge for them.
