In the conversion of raw lignocellulose material into a fibre pulp, for papermaking, bleach is introduced while it is broken down into fibres by a screw press. The system gives a more intensive bleaching action on the fibre material, with reduced process times and costs. Specifically during the redn. process, in the screw press, the material travels through two zones, with the bleach being introduced during the second phase of the process. It is passed in directly in front of the compression zone of the second treatment stage, and the bleach is extracted in the transport zone of the second stage. |
