<p>The towing aid comprises a towing cable on a spring loaded reel mounted on the chassis, under the front and/or rear bumpers. The reel provides a ready fitting for the cable while the spring ensures that the two does not have any slack. The reel centre extends out of the reel housing to provide a key surface which can be engaged by a winch handle so that a vehicle can be retrieved without a towing vehicle or crane.</p> |
