A heating device for use in a brazing operation, comprises a burner 12, which defines a heating zone for the workpiece and to which a combustible gas is delivered, a horizontal table 11 for supporting the workpieces the table being rotatable about a vertical axis for conveying successive workpieces to and from the heating zone. The burner is elevated and then lowered to locate about the workpiece when in the heating zone, and the heating cycle is controlled by time-controlling delivery of the gas to the burner. <IMAGE> |
