<p>Expendable self wedging ingot mould side board holders comprise a pair of elongated metal members with an offset parallel section and angularly positioned distortable end sections which hold ingot mould sideboards in right angular relationship and stop the sideboards from floating. The end sections have serrations which bite into the sideboards as the former are forcibly positioned w.r.t. the latter. The process enables ease of installation and firmness of holding of sideboards in spite of any irregularities in the surfaces or dimensions of the sideboards or the ingot mould walls.</p> |
