Themicrocomputer instruction unit is designed to provide emphasis on the structure of software together with the methods of interfacing with external equipment. The microprocessor is coupled over an address bus with a memory field containing a number of slide switches (11) for setting addresses. Eight input ports (1) with indicators allow data to be entered into the bus. Reset, wait, interrupt and ready buttons together with a display are provided in a single keyboard (4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13). Output ports (8) allows data from the system to be displayed and transmitted to external units. A special input port enables the first address taken to be 256, rather than zero permitting the software items to be called out in reverse order.
|
