PURPOSE:To obtain welded substances with full strength and nice finished surface such as car window shield pillar garnishes, etc. by forcing a ultrasonic wave horn into a combination of a planar material with a concave groove and a planar material with a thin projection which are of synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:In regard to the production of planar products of synthetic resin which are hard of monoblock molding such as a car window shield pillar garnish, etc., a concave groove 2 is formed all over the width in the center of the thickness direction at an end part of one lower garnish, a thin projection 4 is formed all over the width at an end part of the other upper garnish in order that the surfaces of both pieces can have the same levels. Then, when a conical ultrasonic wave horn 5 is let to force in up to the neighborhood of the thin projection at suitable intervals in the width direction from the rear side radiating ultrasonic wave, the welded part 6 can be given full welding strength. |
