PURPOSE:To provide a marking material, completely free of staining caused by initial tackiness which is inherent to the conventional weld-type marking material, by coating the surface of a traffic paint material with an emulsion-type coating composition. CONSTITUTION:Weld-type traffic paint, etc. are applied to the surface of road to a thickness of about 1-1.5mm. The traffic mark, etc. thus applied are coated with an emulsion-type protective coating material to a thickness of about 50-100mu. The application is preferably carried out by applying the molten traffic paint to the road surface, and while the paint temperature is between about 80 deg.C and 100 deg.C, spraying the traffic paint with the protective coating material heated above room temperature. |
