PURPOSE:To discriminate the sign of Doppler frequency by the distribution in output signals of the operation device by providing at least one of sum or difference of the outputs of the Fourier converter used for the Douppler radar. CONSTITUTION:I signal and Q signal which are the outputs of the receiver 4 of Doppler radar device are inputted to the digital-type Fourier converters 8, 9 to obtain comples Fourier spectrum. These outputs of the Fourier converters 8 and 9 are inputted to the operating device 10 to obtain at least one of the sum of the difference of the frequency components corresponding thereto. The discrimination is carried out in such a manner that if the output is presented at the output end of positive frequency component of the operation device 10, make access thereto, and if the output is presented at the output end of negative frequency component, separate therefrom. The Fourier converters 8 and 9 may be caused with those used for Doppler frequency determining system, thereby the construction of the sign discriminating device being very simple. |
