<p>Last rinse of organic fibre textiles, e.g. cellulose ester, polyamide, polyester, polyacrylonitrile and polyolefine fibres, and esp. wool, silk, cellulose and regenerated cellulose fibres, is effected at 1:5 to 1:100 bath ratio in the presence of 0.02-0.5 (0.05-0.2) wt. %/wt. fibre material of >=1 cpd. of formula R1N+R2R3-CHR4-CHR5-O-SOn (I) where R1 is long-chained, esp. 18-22C alkyl; R2 and R3 are H, lower alkyl, benzyl or together form a lower alkylene gp. one of R4 and R5 is H, while the other is H, lower alkyl, phenyl or opt. N-substd. carbonamide, and n is 2 or 3). Treated fibre materials have soft handle.</p> |
