<p>The needle to transfer stitches on a knitter, in the mfr. of tricot fabrics, has the spring mounted on those sides of the needle to spread the stitch loop, in front of the recess to allow the take-up needle to pass through. There is a guide wall to support the take-up needle, so that there is a guiding action for the needle up to the exact transfer point. The design gives a positive and accurate action, without risk of the spring being compressed by the stitches, to hinder the passage.</p> |
