PURPOSE:To securely prevent the axial relative movement of an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder by pressedly fitting the inner cylinder on the inner circumferential surface of the outer cylinder by one reciprocating drive of a press- fitting punch, so that both ends of the inner cylinder can be plastically deformed toward the outer circumferential side to form caulked parts. CONSTITUTION:An engine mount 10 is made up of a cylindrical body 14, an inner cylinder 18, a rubber body 16, and an outer cylinder 20. The inner cylinder 18 is pressedly fitted on the inner circumferential surface of the outer cylinder 20 by one reciprocating drive of a press-fitting punch 26, and further both ends of the inner cylinder 18 are plastically deformed toward the outer circumferential side to form caulked parts 24, 25. At the same time when the press-fitting of the inner cylinder 18 into the outer cylinder 20 has completed, the both end parts of the inner cylinder 18 are caulked to the outer cylinder 10. Thus, the axial both directional relative movement of the inner cylinder 18 and the outer cylinder 20 can be securely prevented. |
