摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent the plate thickness from varying without giving a shock to the rolling mill immediately after starting the automatic plate thickness control, by averaging the variation amount which is caused by the hand-operation in the course of rolling and correcting its average value by the summing amplifier input side. CONSTITUTION:When the hand-operation intervening signal 15 is input to the transmitter 16, this signal is inputted to the memory 14 through the timer 17. In this case, the output value of the summing amplifier 10 is varied as curves 23, 24. This variation amount is equally divided into ''n'', is transmitted to the adder 18, furthermore is transmitted to the divider 19, and the average variation value as shown by the straight lines 25, 26 is derived. The aforesaid value is transmitted to the code converter 21 through the digital converter 20, and the codes ''+'', ''-'' of the average variation value are inverted. The inverted value is inputted to the summing amplifier 10. Resulting from the foregoing, the output value of the summing amplifier 10 gets near ''0''. In this case, the automatic plate thickness control is activated again by performing relock-ON.</p>
