PURPOSE:To perform efficient and accurate measurement by indicating the instructions necessary for measurement, display of measurement time for surface potential, etc. by a keyboard and letting the results of measurement be printed in numerical values. CONSTITUTION:When various measurement conditions are inputted through a keyboard 15, the entire control part 23 stores these and sends commands to a charging control part 12 and destaticizing control part 13 to operate or stop operation of a charging part 2 and destaticizing part 3. The signals detected by a surface potential detecting part 4 are amplified by an amplifier part 14 and are converted to digital values by an AD converter 17. The digital values are subsequently stored in a digital value memory part 18. When charging, dark attenuating and light attenuating are finished, the entire control part 23 uses the arithmetic part 19 to operate, e.g., sensitivity, rate of surface potential change, etc. and sends the results thereof and the measurement data at the necessary points to a print control part 24. These are then printed as numerical values and are outputted as numerical values from a printer 20. |
