PURPOSE:To provide a dental Ag alloy protected from turning black owing to oxidation and sulfurization by adding a specified amt. of Ga to an Ag-Sn-Zn alloy. COMPOSITION:The Ag alloy contains Sn 15-20%, Zn 5-10% and Ga 1-5%. USE:The Ag alloy of the above compsn. is cast into an inlay, a bar, a post, a crown, a dental plate, etc. for dental surgery. This alloy does not turn black at all in the mouth by oxidation and sulfurization. |
