<p>NEW MATERIAL:6-Dicyanomethylpurine nucleoside of formula I (Z is H, proticting group). USE:Antitumorigenic agent or synthetic intermediate of 2-(9-beta-D-ribofuranosylpurine-6-yl)-3-aminoacrylonitrile, which has antiallergic, antitumorigenic and peripheral vascular dilation activities. PREPARATION:The reaction of 6-methylsulfonylpurine nucleoside of formula III (Y is H, protecting group) and malonitrile is effected at room temperature or by heating to refluxing in a solvent as tetrahydrofuran in the presence of a base as sodium hydroxide to produce the compound of formula I. The amount of the base used is 1-10, preferably 2-5 times the molar quantity of 6-methylsulfonylpurine nucleoside of formula III.</p> |
