<p>PURPOSE:To provide satisfactory copies by performing control of the sheet transport means of a fixation device with a detection signal from a loop sensing means, and maintaining the amount of loop constant. CONSTITUTION:The condition of a loop formed on a sheet P is sensed by two sheet sensors 15, 16 furnished in the upper and lower parts of a sheet transport path, and the sensing information from these sheet sensors 15, 16 is fed into a control device 18, which gives a signal about the drive speed to a drive motor 13 so as to adjust the transport speed of the sheet P in a fixation device 10. Thus the amount of sheet loop generated by slip of the sheet P is adjusted from time to time, and the phenomena that an unfixed toner image is rubbed on a structure and pulled in the condition in contact with a photo-sensitive drum 1 are prevented through variation of the loop in the lead-in part of the fixation device 10. Thus a satisfactorily performed copy is obtained.</p> |
