Process for the exhaust dyeing of wool and synthetic polyamide using reactive dyes

A novel process for the dyeing of wool and synthetic polyamide with reactive dyes by the exhaust principle in weakly acidic, aqueous medium is made available. The novel process is characterised in that an aqueous dye solution is added to the dye bath, which dye is obtainable by addition of an amine of the formula I R<1>-NH-(CH2)X-R<2> in which R<1> = H or optionally substituted alkyl R<2> = SO3H, COOH, OH or H X = 0 to 5 to an aqueous solution of a reactive dye of the halopyrimidine, halotriazine or dichloroquinoxaline series in an alkaline medium and, if appropriate, subsequent adjustment of the aqueous dye solution to pH 7 to 4.
