The front- or rear-end loader has a bucket pivoting by trunnions in a boom, so that, when loaded and on actuation of a release, it tips into the discharge position and then back again so as to lock-by means of a pin-in a notch in a double-armed coupling lever. The notch is formed in the shorter arm, while the release acts on teh end of the longer one. - With the bucket loaded, the pin exerts a torque via the notch on the lever in the release direction. The release comprises a toggle lever opposing this torque, and whose extension movement is limited by buffers before reaching the dead-centre position, together with a mechanism acting on the toggle lever.
